El inglés Damien Hirst llega al palacio Grassi de Venecia para presentar su última exposición ‘Tesoros del naufragio del Increíble’. Donde además de reinventar su lenguaje artístico, el artista mezcla realidad con ficción exponiendo 200 obras nuevas inspiradas en la colección de un esclavo otomano cuyo naufragado navío (el ‘Increíble’) transportaba la grandiosa colección que amasó al recuperar su libertad. Compuesta por bustos egipcios, torsos griegos, estatuillas de mármol, budas en bronce, medusas de cristal o discos monolíticos aztecas que ahora se exhiben impregnados de algas y coral.
Mientras todo acaba adoptando formas del pasado para que el propio Hirst reinterprete, renueve y altere su significado. Fomentando la duda entre qué es real y qué no de todo lo que se puede ver hasta el 3 de diciembre en la muestra.
