2020 ha sido un año duro, sobretodo porque no he podido viajar para ver a mi familia. Aun así, he tomado todo este tiempo “libre” para centrarme más en mis cosas, revista y profesion, y es con lo que me quedo.
2020 was a challenging year because I could not travel to see my family. However, I took the chance and all the “free” time to concentrate more on my stuff, magazine and career, which I want to remember.
1. GATA Magazine
Ver mi revista creciendo día a día es lo que mas satisfacción y felicidad me da en este mundo.
Mi amiga Aki y yo empezamos esta revista online hace poco mas de un año y aunque aun es un bebe, es la plataforma donde compartimos nuestro amor y pasión por el arte. Ademas de crear todo lo que siempre habíamos querido crear.

Seeing my magazine growing up slowly every day fulfils me with all the happiness and satisfaction.
My friend Aki and I started this project a little longer than a year ago, and even still a baby, it is a space where we can share our passion and love for art, and create everything that we always wanted to make.
2. Conocer a Dana Dentata
Tener la oportunidad de descubrir y entrevistar a Dana Dentata. Ha sido una de las mujeres que mas me ha inspirado desde hace mucho, ademas de darme la fuerza de ir a por todas y creer en mi poder como mujer.
To have the chance to discover and interview Dana Dentata. She has been one of the women that inspired me and empowered me as a woman the most since a very long time.
3. Mis collages publicados en MAPS magazine
Llevo haciendo collages desde hace mucho tiempo y hace unos años escribí una lista de deseos y uno de ellos era que quería ver mis collages impresos en alguna revista.
Y esto paso justo el año pasado, en la revista MAPS de Korea. Encima fue una editorial en la que trabajamos con marcas como Yohji Yamamoto, Alexander McQueen y Rick Owens.
I have been creating collages since some time already, some years ago I wrote a list of wishes and one of them was to see my collages printed in a magazine. And that was is what happened last year. My collages were printed in MAPS, a magazine from Korea. In the editorial we worked with brands like Yohji Yamamoto, Alexander McQueen y Rick Owens, it was a total blessing.
4. Editorial Yohji Yamamoto para GATA
Trabajamos directamente con el equipo de Yohji Yamamoto en una editorial, donde luego también me encargue de hacer el layout para publicarlo en la revista.
We worked in an editorial with the Yohji Yamamoto team. I worked in the collages and layout to share it at the magazine afterwards.
5. Nuestra Agencia Creative ビアンコBIANCO
Ademas de la revista también tenemos nuestra propia agencia creativa en Tokio, llamada Bianco Bianco, donde trabajo con mi pareja, Adrian y soy “Head of Production”.
El año pasado producimos desde una campana global para New Balance, shootings para EDWIN, SNIPES, videoclips y algo mas gordo que viene para Highsnobiety. Desde luego ha sido un highlight y un push en mi carrera.
Besides the magazine, we also own a creative agency in Tokyo called Bianco Bianco, where I work with my boyfriend, Adrian, and I am the “Head of Production”. Last year we produced a lot, from a New Balance Global Campaign, shootings for Edwin, Snipes, video productions and something bigger under construction for Highsnobiety. For sure, a big highlight and push on my professional career.
6. Volver jugar a la Play
Como hemos pasado más tiempo en casa, decidimos comprar una Playstation, y sin duda se ha vuelto a abrir un mundo para mí. Reconozco que me gusta más jugar que antes. Mis favoritos del año han sido “The Last Of Us” y “Resident Evil, Biohazard” en VR.
In 2020 we spent a lot of time at home, that’s why we decided to buy a PlayStation, and a new world opened for me again. I have to admit that I love it more than I used to. My favourites this year were “The Last Of Us” and “Resident Evil, Biohazard” VR.
7. Volver a leer a Murakami viviendo en Japón
Murakami siempre Ha sido siempre uno de mis escritores favoritos, pero sin duda leerlos viviendo en Japón, me ha dado una perspectiva totalmente diferente, y reconocer calles y sitios por donde yo paso todos los días en los libros me ha enamorado.
Haruki Murakami has always been one of my favourite writers, but reading his books living in Tokyo, gives me a totally new perspective of his world. Read about a street or location and being able to walk through it every day it’s amazing.
8. Viaje a Okinawa
Unos de los paisajes más bonitos que había visto en Japón en los 3 años que vivo aquí, estaba prácticamente desierto y fui con mis mejores amigos. Fue inolvidable y super divertido.
Okinawa was one of the most beautiful places I have seen since I came to Japan 3 years ago. It was empty and quiet, and Travelling with my best friends was unforgivable and super fun.
9. Cine
El año pasado me propuse ver al menos una película buena a la semana. Y gracias a las listas de películas que hacemos para gata, me han llegado un mogollón de nuevas recomendaciones y he descubierto directores y películas que ahora son mis favoritas, como “Santa Sangre”, de Alejandro Jodorowski o “Hanami” de Takeshi Kitano.
Last year I decided to watch at least one very good movie a week. Thanks to the movie list we regularly publish for GATA, and all the recommendations we get from people, I discovered many movies that are now my favourites, for example, “Santa Sangre” from Alejandro Jodorowsky or “Hanami” from Takeshi Kitano.
10. Tokyo
Levantarme y vivir todos los días en Tokyo es lo mas bonito. Amo el Pais, la comida y la cultura. De hecho, he estado publicando mis fotos analógicas en Instagram a modo diario. @tokioredrose probablemente el highlight del 2020, 2021…
Walking up and live every day in Tokyo is the most beautiful one. I love the country, food and culture. I actually have been portraying the city on Instagram, to collect my memories. @tokioredrose probably the highlight of 2020, 2021…
